Your First Visit to Our Greenville Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

Upon arriving at our Greenville chiropractic office, you can expect a warm welcome from our staff and a genuine concern for your well-being! We want you to feel comfortable and at home in our office.

On your initial visit, our goals are to introduce you to chiropractic and our office, get a thorough description of your complaints, gather a detailed medical history, perform a comprehensive chiropractic evaluation to determine if you are a candidate for chiropractic care and obtain any special studies that may be necessary such as x-rays.

Achieving these goals begins with you completing a personal health history questionnaire, as well as other paperwork necessary to assist us in gaining your complete “health picture”.

We begin by showing you a brief video to introduce you to chiropractic. Next, the doctor will discuss your complaints and medical history to determine if chiropractic care may be right for you. If he feels your condition can benefit from care, the consultation will be followed by a thorough chiropractic, orthopedic and neurologic examination. If for some reason the doctor does not feel chiropractic is the right choice for you, you will be given a proper referral and other options will be discussed. We will not waste your time or money if we do not think we can help you. Following the examination, he will recommend any special studies that he feels are required to fully evaluate your condition and provide you with safe, effective chiropractic care.

A typical fist visit in our office takes approximately 60 minutes, depending on severity of condition and complexity of your health history. Think of your first visit as a “fact-finding” day!

Dr. Mike Asks some important questions of interest to Greenville residents - Chiropractor Greenville Dr. Mike Asks...

How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
What's the difference between chiropractic and medicine?
Medical treatment focuses on the disease or the symptom. Chiropractic focuses on the person with the disease or the symptom. Medical treatment usually involves changing blood chemistry. Chiropractic involves restoring nervous system integrity. Medical doctors prescribe medicine. Chiropractors adjust the spine—a common source of nervous system interference.
